Sarah Brightman “Beautiful Day”

Here’s a perfect get up and do something amazing song for a Monday morning.  Sarah Brightman is one of my favorite female vocalists.  The role of Christine Daae  in smash broadway show “Phantom of the Opera” was written with her voice in mind.  She worked in partnership with Andrew Lloyd Webber for many years.

This particular song “Beautiful Day” from her hit album Harem calls to me for its incredible vocals, use of string instruments, great dance beat, and amazing lyrics.  I’m not crazy about the music video – none of Ms. Brightman’s music video’s quite hit the mark in my humble opinion.

Get up and do something amazing today!  Every day holds a new opportunity to do the things we dream about.

  1. Hmm… the video does have a Bollywood feel, but you’re right about the song and her voice. Thank you for sharing this!

Her “non-operatic” singing efforts appealed to me more than her “operatic” efforts. : )

But I loved the sentiment behind the song ~ great for Monday morning motivation.
